After 14 years where it all started the 8th convention was held in Dallas, Texas at Hyatt Regency DFW International Airport Hotel under the leadership of President Sri. T. N. Nair. It was magical 4 days with all Malayalee and Kerala nostalgia for over 1200 Hindus from around the world who attended the convention.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was the chief guest and gave the key note address. Some of the other distinguished guests included Swami Chidananda Puri, Swami Nirmalananda Giri, Sri C. Radhakrishnan, Sri Kummanan Rajasekharan, Sri Rahul Eswar, Sri Raju Narayana Swami, etc.
