Everyone who missed the plantain and coconut trees of Kerala, was transported back to homeland in KHNA convention 2013 held in South Florida, known as a “kochu Keralam” due to the tropical climate, as said by the then President, Sri. Anandan Niravel. The convention was at Fort Lauderdale, and we basked in the Florida sunshine seeing “Thengumpookkula” all around and eating “vazhappazhams”!!
